Cancellation policy.

Plans change. Each home on Lebanon Rental has its own cancellation policy, chosen by the host from the four below. It's shown on the listing before you book and on your booking page, and the policy in force when you sent your request is the one that applies to your booking — even if the host changes it later.
Before you pay, you can cancel any time at no cost. The rules below apply once a payment has been made. Deadlines count back from check-in day (Beirut time).
Flexible
Full refund up to 1 day before check-in. After that, no refund.
Moderate
Full refund up to 7 days before check-in, 50% up to 1 day before. After that, no refund.
Strict
Full refund up to 30 days before check-in, 50% up to 14 days before. After that, no refund.
Down payment non-refundable
The down payment is kept. Anything paid above it is refunded up to 7 days before check-in. After that, no refund.
Partial refunds are worked out on the total price of the stay: for example, under a 50% refund on a $1,000 stay you are charged $500, and anything you paid above that comes back to you. A no-show counts as a cancellation after check-in.
Force majeure
Earthquakes, fires, civil unrest, road closures, or a Lebanese government decree that prevents travel: full refund regardless of how close to check-in. We don't need a court order — if news says it's real, we honour it.
Owner cancellation
If the host cancels on you after confirmation, you get everything you paid back, whatever their policy says, and we'll help you find a comparable place for the same dates. Hosts who repeatedly cancel on guests lose access to Lebanon Rental.
How to cancel
WhatsApp the agent who confirmed your booking (their name and number are on your booking confirmation). Or message us at our main WhatsApp. Refunds process within 7 business days via the same channel you paid with.
Disputes
If you and the owner disagree on whether a cancellation is justified, email the team with the booking reference. Decisions get communicated within 5 business days. Our call is final.
